Drove the car from Boulder to Brunswick, Maine, to drop it off for my son in college: moe.down was the spot where I got "lost along the way".

Solid recording.

First two days of moe.down, plus the general vibe, are blogged 9/23/07 @: http://financialrocknroll.blogspot.com

Cheers,
Butler

Subject: Saturday night was the show!
What an amazing day! From the turkey leg to the greatest Timmy Tucker ever! Anybody else see that crazy, neon green stick-figure with ponytails that was dancin'? That thing was such a good dancer. How about that jellyfish that swam right over me. Good thing my buddy warned me about the tenticles. Or that disco ball that came on twenty feet away from me and sent me into a complete state of suspended animation. It was like the whole hill turned into one giant room, but outside.
So glad to finally have this so I can go back to that insane Tucker! Thanks so much! Rob said the next day when he was signing my poster that he didn't even remember it. How nuts is that...especially when you're the one singing. Such a good night. Can't wait 'til next year! Thanks again! Peace!

Subject: holy shit
i've been a moe. fan for about 6 years now and have been to numerous shows, but none that come close to the intensity and power that they played with throughout saturday. from the bizarre stage antics of buster to the encore soad>spaz there was no lull in the energy. except for when moe. wasn't on the stage and the meat puppets "got a little weird" in rob's words. overall an outstanding show that is worth checking out even for people that weren't there. anyone got any of the lotus sets?

Subject: its up!!!
hooray moe.down 8!

This was possibly the best 3 days of my life. I look forward to this all year long, literally every single day. Only 363 days until the next one!!

this was the best moe.down i have been to. dare i say, next year Snow Ridge is gonna be at capacity.

How bizzare was shakedown street in the ewok village at 4:00 am (just before the staties showed)?

get all three days. I personally liked saturday and sunday night sets the best. everyones opinion will vary.

dedicate some time to enjoying all the shows. if you are not yet familiar with moe., they covered a diverse group of tunes during this three day period and you will get a taste of this band at the top of their game.

thanks again so much everybody for a great weekend!!!!!!!

Subject: best moe. i've seen in years
I've been to every moe.down since #2. Won't miss them. Location, the people, and the music are always good. This year was especially true. moe. finally has a fire lit under their asses again. They played with fire, and were at the peak of their playing. They have finally realized that by doing less with the instruments, you get a greater effect. Each set was better than the next. If you are looking for a good variety of moe. music download all 3 days.
